Pasting provides no feedback when lacking write permissions

Copying a file and pasting it into a directory to which the user has no write access results in no feedback. The suggestion I received was letting the operation go through and showing an error.

Or maybe we could use the admin backend when we notice the lack of permissions?

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
