Ask for password when copying files without sufficient permissions
When copying large folders with lots of nested subfolders, it's very annoying if it turns out during the process that I don't have permission to copy some random file in some subfolder, because I need to stop the process, manually change the permissions, and start from scracth (or choose "skip" and manually find all the skipped files later).
It would be better if instead of just "Cancel", "Skip", and "Skip All" there were a way to override them with an administrator password.
Example of what that flow could look like:
- Start the copying operation
- Nautilus comes upon the first file it doesn't have permission to copy
- Password dialog asks for administrator password
- If I'm an admin user and can provide the password, all files are copied including the ones my user doesn't have permission to access
- If I don't have an admin password, I get the current cancel/skip/skip all dialog
