Weird spacing around colons in Properties dialog with different fonts than Cantarell
Hi,
I have a weird issue regarding font. I have set up a different than default font (Ubuntu Regular) and anywhere, where there is time shown (last accessed, modified, etc.), the time has very weird spacing.
I have a hard time pinpointing the root cause of this, because:
-
In "regular" version (installed by Arch, 3.38.2-1, commit f9ef978f) of Nautilus, it happens in every font, but Cantarell, regardless of GTK Theme, Gnome Shell Theme, or format of Time. (Tested with Adwaita, Arc, Nordic themes, fonts Ubuntu, Droid, Cantarell and locales cs_CZ.UTF-8, en_US.UTF-8, en_GB.UTF-8 and every combination of these)
-
In nightly flatpak install, it does not happen. However, it does not respect my GTK/Gnome Shell theme because Flatpak. It does respect my locale and font though, and it seems to work (i.e. not happen) in any font.
-
In git build from AUR (along with git build of glib2, gnome-desktop, libhandy and gnome-autoar, because otherwise, it does not compile), which should in theory be very similar to nightly flatpak, the bug is persistent as well.
The thing is, the text does not have an extra space - if I copy the text into a text editor, there is not a space.
I was playing with my fonts recently, so it is very much possible that I "broke" something by accident, I don't remember seeing it like this prior about two days ago.
System: Arch Fonts According to Gnome Tweaks:
- Interface: Ubuntu Regular 11
- Document: Ubuntu Regular 11
- Monospace: FiraCode Nerd Font Regular 10
- Legacy Window Titles: Ubuntu Regular 12
Hinting slight, Antialiasing Standard (but unable to make it work with any different combination).
All font-related packages installed on the system:

Thank you very much for any help regarding this, it is driving me crazy, especially the fact, that I don't know, what could be the root cause (theme/font/nautilus/glib2/whatever else)
