"File Conflict" warning might appear when setting wallpaper
Affected version
- Nightly flatpak: Unsure - nightly build doesn't seem to want to open.
- Other: Fedora Workstation 33
Steps to reproduce
- In nautilus right click on any image file and select Set as Wallpaper
- (Optionally) make changes to the image, such as making it black and white (what I did)
- Right click on the same file, or any file with the same file name, and select Set as Wallpaper
Current behavior
A file conflict warning appears, which isn't clear. I understand that in the backend it's replacing a file, but to the user this doesn't make sense as the wallpaper isn't a "file" to the user, it's a setting. The original file is still there, untouched.
Expected behavior
No warning should appear. This is how Windows and macOS work.
