Copy to USB drive is treated as complete too early

I have a problem when I copy files(big files most of the time). When I copy the file and even though the round cycle on top right shows that the copying it's finished in reality it's not. I noticed that when I was copying a 36GB ISO from my external HDD to my Documents folder and it showed that was finished and I unplugged my drive and when I tried to extract the ISO said it was corrupted. Also when I was copying a 12GB folder with different files to my USB drive, again it showed that was finished, I unplugged the USB and when I connected it to another laptop only 10GB was transferred. I don't know if has something to do with the file manager or something else or even my ssd but on the windows 10 partition don't have that issue. Hope I explained it as much as I could and you will get to understand the issue.
