Tile two windows side by side in a single action.
Use cases
Years ago there was a feature to split the nautilus window by pressing F3, which was abandoned. Now we can get this by draging two windows to the left and right edge, which is a bit too complicated, I think.
Desired behavior
Reimplement the described feature by letting F3 open a new window and split the screen.
Benefits of the solution
If you manage files you often need to copy and move files around, so that is a very basic feature. It would be very neat to get two windows side by side with just one key press.
Possible drawbacks
I don't see any. Maybe it should be implemented globally for all apps in GNOME shell.
