Can't reach the hamburger menu from the keyboard
Affected version
- Nightly flatpak: Didn't test it because the version below is most probably fresh enough
- Other: Fedora 31
nautilus-3.34.1-1.fc31.x86_64
gtk3-3.24.12-1.fc31.x86_64
gnome-shell-3.34.1-2.fc31.x86_64
Steps to reproduce
- Try to open the hamburger menu using only keyboard
- There is no way
Current behavior
You can't open the hamburger menu using only keyboard.
Expected behavior
In most applications, you can reach the menu using F10. In Nautilus, there are multiple menus, and F10 opens up the View menu. There seems to be no way to travel from the View menu to the hamburger menu (for example in gnome-shell's top bar, you can do it by simply using right/left arrows). If you see the "Keyboard shortcuts" dialog, there's also no shortcut listed to reach that menu.
I'd expect either being able to navigate between View and hamburger menu freely by using right/left buttons, or perhaps after second press of F10 the focus would stay in the top bar so that I could switch using Tab to the hamburger menu. Another option is to have a way of reaching the hamburger menu using a specialized shortcut, but it would be better to have something consistent across all the apps which use similar multi-menu GUI style.
