gnome-shell segfault on F11 in Wayland
I wrote a very basic (one-liner) GNOME extension to automatically open new windows in full-screen mode (F11). The code can be found here. On X11 it works flawlessly.
On Wayland, however, many applications (ex. FireFox and gnome-tweaks) cause gnome-shell to crash. The closest I could find was Issue #260 but I am not sure whether these are related. Maybe this isn't even a Wayland bug but I did something wrong :)
A relevant snippet of journalctl -b | grep gnome
shows that mutter segfaults:
Jun 17 20:50:30 kibouolaptop kernel: gnome-shell[5861]: segfault at 140 ip 00007f3750ca135e sp 00007ffdc101f8b0 error 4 in libmutter-4.so.0.0.0[7f3750c7f000+d0000]
Info:
- GNOME Shell 3.32.2
(I don't know what else might be relevant but I'm glad to provide any info.)
