Unexpected dependency on GLESv3
While there are meson build options to enable GLESv2 support, mutter's native backend support has a hard dependency on GLESv3 for glBlitFramebuffer to support hybrid GPU configurations.
There are still a few driver stacks (in my case a version of the Mali stack I can't migrate away from) that don't support GLESv3, and I can't use packages with native backend support enabled there, as the glBlitFramebuffer symbol isn't present.
Was GLESv2 support intentionally deprecated?
