SIGSEGV in meta_window_maximize_internal when monitor is off
On Fedora 27 GNOME/Wayland (gnome-shell-3.26.2-4.fc27.x86_64, mutter-3.26.2-2.fc27.x86_64): What I sometimes do is switch the workstation's monitor off overnight while some tests are running that create windows (LibreOffice's make check screenshot
). What I occasionally see the next morning is that gnome-shell has crashed in the meantime with a SIGSEGV in meta_window_maximize_internal, trying to dereference window->monitor, which is null; see attached gdb.log.
I'm not sure whether this is the same issue as #34 (closed) "Gnome Shell crashes when I turn off the monitor", which mentions meta_window_get_monitor that I don't see involved at all in my gdb.log.gdb.log
