GNOME shell menu drop-downs not refreshing
When I click on the GNOME menu in the upper-right corner, then click on the arrow to expand WIFI, VPN or any other expandable section, it does not refresh and show the new content until I move the mouse over something with a "hover" effect.
This only happens when I'm using a dual-monitor (laptop and external monitor) setup. When I unplug the monitor, things work fine solely on the laptop screen.
The laptop is a Lenovo P50 with hybrid Intel/nVidia graphics and I am using the Nouveau driver.
Package versions:
- gnome-shell-3.32.0-1.fc30.x86_64
- mutter-3.32.0-2.fc30.x86_64
- xorg-x11-drv-nouveau-1.0.15-7.fc30.x86_64
- kernel-core-5.0.5-300.fc30.x86_64
VGA info:
- 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation HD Graphics 530 (rev 06)
- 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GM107GLM [Quadro M1000M] (rev a2)
I tried to use GNOME Shell's screen recorder to demonstrate the behavior, but oddly while it's activated I see no refreshes or "hover" effects at all.
