GNOME 3.30 loads wrong monitor configuration after reboot
possibly related to #342 (closed)
I have a laptop screen and 2 external monitors (1 HDMI, 1 VGA). I had been running fine for months with the internal screen disabled and the 2 monitors side by side, with the top bar on the left. So, [left external] [right external]
.
After rebooting (for the first time in about 130 days), and ending up on GNOME 3.30.1, no such luck. I can tell GNOME which displays to use, and that'll work for the meantime*
. However, after every reboot, it goes back to some configuration of its own invention, currently [internal] [right external]
.
I've completely forgotten what kind of commands I should run to get the info people would need to fix this, but please let me know and I'll provide whatever is required.
