Cursor is invisible on Wayland

Bug summary
When using a hardware cursor, it is invisible. I can still interact with the desktop.
Relevant logs, screenshots, screencasts etc.
These show up in the journal when moving the mouse.

GPU driver. This happens with both amdgpu and radeon.
