Problems with the rotation mapping of my stylus under gnome-wayland

Problem:

I got a problem with the autorotation feature. The "normal" touch input finger device and the normal pointer device work correctly. But the stylus does not. Having my device in the normal rotation works fine. The Problem comes, when I turn my device on the side with autorotation enabled. Its hard to describe what happens, but I guess the that the input module takes the unrotated coordinates of my screen and maps them onto my rotated desktop. I.e. if I turn my surface on the left side edge and drag the stylus to the "new" right of my screen which is the bottom of my surface, my pointer will move down on my desktop, where it should move right.

Steps to reproduce:

Take a tablet computer which has a gyroscope. Use gnome-shell-wayland, turn it on the side and try using a stylus. Be sure to have the stylus configured as an extra lipinput device.

My Configuration:

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 i5-4300U 4G Ram fedora 29 workstation gnome-shell 3.30.1 for wayland
