[Wayland] New present window support added in 3.32 messes up alt-tab
Description:
It seems that the addition of request_focus
in gtk-shell (commit a08d7cf4) in 3.32 and its implementation in mutter (commit 177b4df2) confuses alt-tab.
Steps to reproduce:
- From a gnome-terminal, open a file in gedit (gedit somefile.txt)
- Move focus back to the terminal
- Open another file (gedit someotherfile.txt) from the same gnome-terminal
- Use "Alt-Tab" to switch focus to that gedit window
Actual result:
The "gedit" window is neither focused nor raised, a notification shows up that the window is ready.
Using Alt-Tab to get to that gedit windows does nothing. Only way to actually get the window to be raised and focused is apparently to switch to another app and back again.
The "gedit" window shows up first in the alt-tab list but isn;t neither focused nor raised, so using alt-tab keeps switching to the next window in the list which is the terminal, preventing to actually switch to the gedit window.
