mpv with dmabuf-wayland fullscreen, when not hit direct scanout in non native resolution shows 1 pixel stripe of previous view in the bottom
- OS: Arch Linux
- GNOME 45rc from fcgu, mutter from main.
- (with/without) !3177 (merged) (direct scanout for cropped and scaled surfaces)
- Laptop with Intel Iris Xe, 2240x1400 display, mostly running at 1680x1050, the same result.
- latest mpv from git main
Tried mpv --hwdec=vaapi --vo=dmabuf-wayland ~/Videos/video.mkv --fs
If using non-native resolution for film and when not hit direct scanout path, it shows 1-pixel stripe of previous view (e.g. background or windows) in the bottom.
Output:
