Night Light occasionally gets "stuck"
Affected version
F37 Silverblue Testing, mutter-43.0-3.fc37.x86_64, gnome-shell-43.0-3.fc37.x86_64, Wayland
Bug summary
Night Light occasionally gets stuck in night mode.
Steps to reproduce
- Laptop is connected to an external screen, the laptop lid is closed. Night Light is enabled and active.
- Suspend laptop.
- While it's suspended, wait until it's morning (so Night Light should turn off), and disconnect the external screen.
- Open the laptop lid, causing it to unsuspend.
What happened
Occasionally Night Light gets stuck in the active state (even though it's now morning and it should turn off). Toggling it off and on doesn't help, switching ttys disables it on the GDM tty but enables it back on the session tty.
What did you expect to happen
Night Light never gets stuck.

Trimmed down journal around the suspend point: journal
Running gdbus call -e -o /org/gnome/SettingsDaemon/Color -d org.gnome.SettingsDaemon.Color -m org.gnome.SettingsDaemon.Color.NightLightPreview 2
did the animation and reset the screen to a good state.
