GNOME background color always black
Set a background image with the scaled option. Rest of background outside of scaled image is black instead of honoring the /org/gnome/desktop/background/primary-color and secondary-color. This problem appeared before, was associated with mutter (https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=754476), and was repaired. Since Fedora 34 was released with GNOME 40, background colors are ignored and only black appears outside the image. Without an image the background colors appear. Subsequent GNOME releases have not fixed this.
To reproduce: gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.background picture-uri imagepathnamegoeshere
To see the primary & secondary colors: gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.background picture-uri ""
