Tablet mode doesn't get detected on Wayland

My laptop is a 2-in-1, meaning it has a touch screen and can transform into a tablet by flipping the screen. However, when I flip the screen, the tablet mode doesn't get enabled, so I can't rotate the screen and the on-screen keyboard doesn't appear. The issue occurs only on Wayland because X.org always enables the tablet mode regardless of whether the screen is flipped.
