Bug summary
In a 3 monitor setup on Intel graphics one column of pixels on the right side of the middle monitor (3) is "garbage" and often changing. I tried taking screenshots but the glitch does not appear in the captured images.
- Glitches do appear with monitor 1 to the right of 3.
- Glitches do appear with monitor 1 to the right of 3 and shifted up or down.
- Glitches do not appear with monitor 1 above or below 3.
- Glitches do not appear in any configuration with monitor 2 to the right of 3.
- Glitches do not appear on any other monitor.
Let me know if you would like me to test any other configuration.
Steps to reproduce
- Launch GNOME with Wayland.
- Configure the monitors as described:
- To the right of 3. - Resolution 1920x1080 - Native Resolution 3840x2160 - Scaling 125%
- To the left of 3. - Resolution 1920x1080 - Native Resolution 1920x1080 - Scaling 100%
- In the middle. - Resolution 3840x2160 - Native Resolution 3840x2160 - Scaling 175%
What happened
The left column of pixels on monitor 3 has glitches. Often they resemble the background image of the desktop but other times they just appear to be white and sometimes they are moving even if nothing else on the desktop is. The column of glitched pixels is always visible, even if applications or maximized. However they get significantly dimmer when opening the menu (It appears that they closely follow the dimmed desktop background in this case).
What did you expect to happen
No glitches.

Other thoughts:
At first I thought this was a column of pixels from the monitor to the right however this is not strictly the case. It is very frequent that I see the edge of the desktop background but sometimes it moves without anything else on the monitor moving. It also appears to have some memory of what happens on the edge of the monitor, as if it is just not being redrawn. Video with the pixels: https://photos.app.goo.gl/fYbMK2nmg2wn3F3T7
