Shell freezes when using macros from my mouse
Provide at least the following information:
- Debian Sid
- mutter: 3.36.5
- XOrg, haven;t tested Wayland
- When I press a macro button on my mouse (Logitech G703), the shell freezes for a second. If I spam the keys, the system locks up for longer and longer.
- Xorg also jumps to 100% CPU usage while frozen, and it seems to be almost identical to #606 (closed)
Steps to reproduce
- Spam any key on the keyboard
- Press a macro key
Journalctl is filled with:
Sep 02 18:17:32 snakeroot gnome-shell: Window manager warning: Overwriting existing binding of keysym 34 with keysym 34 (keycode d).
when this happens, each keysym and keycode varies slightly
