Ideas for further culling optimizations
This is just a place to dump further ideas for culling optimizations.
- In
set_clip_region
ofMetaSurfaceActor
we copy the clip region without intersecting in with the eventual paint volume size like we do inset_unobscured_region
. Doing so would allow us to bail out inmeta_surface_actor_paint
more often - and potentially inmeta_surface_actor_wayland_paint
, too, before issuing frame callbacks, but I need to double check that.
