exclude criterion timestamp
I use an application performing numerous tests, and basically writes for each of them a little log file. With a new release of the application, addressing some issues noticed earlier, I checked these logs written by previous release (n-1) with the ones of current lease (n) directory-wise.
The content of the logs did not change, consequently, inside the files in question meld correctly indicated the two versions were identical. Yet in the folderwise display, the files were marked by an asterisk as different. This may be understood if meld were to access both file content and time stamp of creation / last edit of the files in question. Yet, is there a way to constrain meld's comparison to the file-content only? In other words, to add in the preferences of the program an entry, e.g. under "time resolution" similar of "dont't watch at this, please"?
The question refers to meld, version 3.18.0, as currently available (2019-Apr-04) in the repositories of Xubuntu 18.04.2 LTS, 64 bit. This feature suggest doesn't appear as a bug fixed here covering releases of meld since then, and -- so far -- wasn't spot by mine in the issue tracker, either.
