Meld hangs or crashes on binary file comparison

• What happens: Meld hangs indefinitely and then it has to be force closed
• When: When comparing binary files via git bash difftool.
• What should happen: meld recognizes it as a binary file and either tells you it's different or the same, or just say it's a binary file and not crash.

I'm running meld in Windows 10, the normal installer package.
