Description
msgid "Abū Mūsā" Ah, a small island with about 500 inhabitants, according to Wikipedia. Sure, very helpful.
msgid "Ad Dalfa'ah" a very small town near to the big city of Brydah. Why not listing Brydah itself?
msgid "Allison Harbour" a very small town in canada, while the big Canadian Vancouver (200km away) is not even available in the list
#. Translators: this is a city in Saudi Arabia #: ../data/Locations.xml.in.h:570 msgid "Ar Ruqayyiqah"
Not a city. It's a very small suburb of Al Hofuf it seems. So why not using Al Hofuf?
#. Translators: this is a city in Texas in the United States #: ../data/Locations.xml.in.h:760 msgid "Austin" msgstr "Austin"
#: ../data/Locations.xml.in.h:761 msgid "Austin City, Austin Camp Mabry" msgstr "Austin City, Austin Camp Mabry"
Is that needed? That's just 5km away from each other. I don't care about those 0.1F difference between city center and the military camp.
#. Translators: this is a city in Quebec in Canada #: ../data/Locations.xml.in.h:826 msgid "Baie-de-la-Trinité"
It is "Baie-Trinité" and has according to wikipedia 589 inhabitants. This is just ridiculous.
The german towns are also in fact often small villages. I had to look up lots of them though I know this country quite well IMO. In general: It's useless to list village names instead of big cities. I do NOT know the name of the third village if I drive west from the big city I live in.
So do you really want me to hunt down the smallest villages in the middle of nowhere?
I stopped my translation efforts here and won't continue. Updating the po file looks like a huge waste of time to me.
