gkbd-keyboard-display padding and window resizing
Version: 3.26.1 [8d02ebd1] Distro: Arch
Currently gkbd-keyboard-display has huge paddings on the content. The size of the window seems to be dependent on the screen's resolution. On my screen a total 330 pixels of vertical space is wasted. The space between the function key row and the main section could also be smaller, as to align better with modern style keyboards, instead of the IBM model M -esque style it has now. Also it is not possible resize the window. So one cannot use it side by side with another application, as it opens at a size that covers most of the screen. 75% horizontally in my case.
Proposed improvements in order of importance:
- Enable resizing of the window.
- Remove unneeded, space wasting padding around the layout. Or at least make it more sane.
- Tune the function key row to be closer to the main key rows, as to align better with modern keyboard design.
