Build successfully on GLib 2.32

Simon McVittie requested to merge smcv/libglnx:older-glibs into master

I recently found myself trying to use libglnx in an environment with GLib 2.32 (the Steam Runtime, which is based on Ubuntu 12.04). It's actually surprisingly feasible to make this work.

Temporarily rebased on !8 (merged) to get CI, but this can be dropped if !8 (merged) has problems.
