Description
When attempting to mount a shared folder on a windows network using domain credentials, providing the domain as part of the username works, but providing it when prompted for it specifically does not. Sample session follows:
$ gvfs-mount smb://`<servername>`/e$
Password required for share e$ on `<servername>`
User [ajvant]: ajvant
Domain [WORKGROUP]: `<domainname>`
Password:
Password required for share e$ on `<servername>`
User [ajvant]: `<domainname>`\ajvant
Domain [WORKGROUP]: bogus
Password:
With the share working after the second attempt. I would expect either form to work. I've seen the same behavior in Nautilus but I get the impression it uses gvfs under the hood so I'm reporting it under gvfs.
I'm willing to write a patch if someone could point me in the general direction of the offending code. I'm not sure where to begin looking.
