Description
I have a host "fish" which has a IP of "192.168.200.103" in my local network. In /etc/hosts I have: 192.168.200.103 fish
When I add a bookmark in nautilus like: sftp://vinci@fish:192.168.200.103/home/vinci
everything is fine.
But when I change the URL to sftp://vinci@fish:fish/home/vinci
what nautilus or gvfs makes is: sftp://vinci@fish:0/home/vinci
Also the name of the bookmark is changed from "vincifish" to "vinci".
Not sure if this is gvfs or nautilus problem or both. But I think this is a major issue because short names for server names are very widespread.
I am using Ubuntu 8.10 with latest updates.
