Unable to Stop Harddisk Error: Timeout was reached
For some reason I am receiving this error from Nautilus 3.28.1 now and then:
I checked GNOME Disks and it appears "ST2000... " is the name of my 2TB external hard drive. Two issues here:
- Why is this dialog appearing in the first place? I don't recall asking Nautilus to stop my hard drive. Was this really triggered by a user interaction? Or is this caused by USB Autosuspend somehow?
- The wording could be clearer.. what does "stop" mean in this context? Stop from doing what exactly?
- The dialog presents no immediate actions that I could do about it, so I am not sure why it is a dialog in the first place. Maybe it is more suited as an in-app notification (if it even is supposed to appear)?
