Adwaita: Fix errors in two recent MRs
Fix errors in !322 (merged) and !323 (merged) as when I submitted it initially I didn't understand how to test a modified Adwaita corectly yet. I tested all my changes correctly, they are now working as expected and I couldn't find any error or glitch with existing applications.
