Improve UX by moving dialog buttons to the bottom of the window
It’s a bit weird with buttons at the top of dialogs that you need to read and track the mouse in a V pattern. This is much less efficient than the traditional Z pattern with buttons in the bottom-right (assuming L-R languages).
Has any usability testing been done with the dialog design? For me, the experience is frustrating to put it mildly. Even if the idea of buttons at the top is good, the user is left searching for buttons BOTH at the top and the bottom, because the experience isn't consistent. Some parts of the UI (like when using Inkscape, GIMP, Firefox,...) puts buttons at the bottom.
