Fix warnings due to -Wdeclaration-after-statement and -Wshadow.

Instead of Return value:

Use GDK_WINDOW_XID() instead.

THis was done using sed, so there might be issues resulting to that.
Feel free to fix.

Remove syncs in front of gdk_error_trap_pop() calls, and convert
gdk_error_trap_pop() calls to gdk_error_trap_pop_ignored() in gdk.
