Pink screen at certain screen resolutions on macOS

Steps to reproduce

1. Use Better Display or similar tools to try a different, custom screen resolution
2. Launch a GTK 4 application
3. Repeat the steps until the screen turns pink

Current behavior

Pink screen at certain resolutions, application unusable.

Expected outcome

Application works as normal.

Seems like you need a Retina or other high-resolution display to reproduce the issue, which I don't currently have.

Happens with both the old and new GL renderer, on at least GTK 4.16.7. Unknown if the issue happens in GTK 4.17.2.

@amolenaar I believe you have newer hardware with a Retina display? Perhaps you could verify?
