Commit d50c9137 introduced allocation regressions for GtkBoxLayout

Privacy -> Screen Lock page of GNOME Settings before and after commit d50c9137:

Note the edited subtitle "Period of inactivity until screen blanks until screen blanks". Text scaling factor here is 1.00. If we consider every commit atomic, this could mean that commit has issues?

The next commits of that MR seem to improve things, but still for a text scaling factor of 1.03 (not close to the a11y Large Text option of 1.25), I can make it look like this on commit bded9212 still:

With allocation criticals.

Not sure if and how the later commits fix things, but something is off here, at least still for font scales >= 1.03 on current git Main.
