Can Gtk 4 support the AtspiDocument interface?
ATK and AT-SPI2 each have an accessible document interface. It's fairly minimal. And it seemed like a perfect way for the LO developers to fix this bug I filed: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=158029. There I stated:
Accessible names should be short and meaningful. Exposing the URL should be done via the Document interface and not the name.
The response I got was:
From what I can see, LO currently doesn't have an equivalent for the AT-SPI Document interface, and neither Gtk 4 nor Qt provide a way to do so, only Gtk 3 does (AtkDocument).
Would it be possible for Gtk 4 to add support for accessible documents? Aside from LO, I can imagine PDF document viewers written in Gtk 4 might benefit from this support.
