App is unusable while running on steam deck with console mode / Support gamescope environment
Gnome Web's UI makes it a perfect app for steam deck in theory with big and easy to use buttons that are touch friendly and a simple interface. However, despite installing and setting up the app while in desktop mode - once the app is launched from within the console UI, it stops working. The interface is non responsive and doesnt allow you to interact with most components using touch or mouse. Webpages fail to load completely forever being stuck at the very start. Settings cant be open, tapping the new tab option does nothing.
Comparing to other browsers, Chrome (and likely other chromium based browsers) work more or less fine. Firefox has issues with multiple parts of the UI but is still usable for basic tasks.
Trying out other gnome apps, many other apps struggle to work on steam deck with issues but none are as bad as Gnome Web which just shows the inital UI and is completely unusable.

I am willing to work with devs and test and debug on my steam deck to make this happen. Steam deck could be a good place to make sure gnome apps work well for tablet interfaces, 10-ft ui console style setups (since it has controller input options) and other handhelds.
While running in desktop mode steam deck uses KDE in X11 mode however while running in console UI it runs under gamescope wayland environment.
The steam deck environment can be recreated on desktop by adding and launching gnome web through Steam while in big picture mode.
