gtk3-3.24.35 broke double click to maximize in many apps (regression from gtk3-3.24.34)
Steps to reproduce
- Have gtk3-3.24.35 installed
- Run EOG (Eye of GNOME) or any other affected app (see below)
- Double click on the title bar to maximize it. Nothing happens. (The same problem when double clicking to unmaximize, nothing happens).
- Downgrade to gtk3-3.24.34
- Reopen EOG
- Double click on the title bar to maximize/unmaximize it, it works correctly.
Current behavior
Many apps can't be maximized by double clicking the title bar since upgrading to gtk3-3.24.35.
I found these apps to be affected:
- eog
- gnome-system-monitor
- gnome-photos
- simple-scan
- gnome-boxes
- gnome-connections
- gnome-disks
- evince
- yelp
Other apps which I tested (the default apps in Fedora Workstation) are not affected.
Expected outcome
Apps listed above can be maximized by double-clicking the title bar.
