Composed/combined characters can't be typed anymore in GTK4
Steps to reproduce
- Open any GTK4 project and find a text input or a text view
- Try typing ê or ë for example (anything that use the key with ^/" then a space or any vowel)
Current behavior
It only inserts the second typed character (e.g. e
or
), without the ^/".
Expected outcome
It is possible to type ê or ë, or to use ^/" then the space character to insert the accentuation alone.
Version information
GTK4, Fedora 36, on flatpak nightly.
