Gtk3 GtkLabel does not appear to respect either `gtk_label_set_width_chars` or `gtk_widget_set_size_request`
When using a GtkLabel, using either gtk_label_set_width_chars
or gtk_widget_set_size_request
does not appear to have any effect, at least on the horizontal width of the label, as it appears that as soon at gtk_label_set_text
is called, the widget is resized, which also has the side effect of resizing all the object around it.
Steps to reproduce
- call either
gtk_label_set_width_chars
orgtk_widget_set_size_request
with a size - call
gtk_label_set_text
with a text (shorter or longer) than the size request
Current behavior
The label is resized to fit the text.
Expected outcome
The label maintains the requested size.
