GTK 4 does not allow `rgba` font antialiasing
Steps to reproduce
- Set the font antialiasing to
rgba
.
gsettings set org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.xsettings antialiasing rgba
- Open a GTK 4 application e.g.
gtk4-demo
. - Take a screenshot of it.
- Paste it into an image editor and zoom in on the text.
Current behavior
GTK 4 text is grayscale even with the rgba
setting:
(This image is 400% scale of gtk4-demo
.)
Expected outcome
GTK 4 respects the rgba
setting, like GTK 3 does:
(This image is 400% scale of gtk3-demo
.)
Version information
GTK master, Fedora 33, gnome-shell 3.38.3 on X11.
