html read : formulas almost work
Background
Consider the following example of HTML tables. If you ssconvert gnumeric-html-short.html gnumeric-html-short.gnumeric
everything works fine. Cells B4 and C4 contain working formulas. So far so good.
Observed Bug
Open the HTML file directly in gnumeric. Observe that B4 and C4 appear blank. If you go to a new cell and enter a formula that references these cells, they behave as empty cells. OTOH if you select either of the cells and look at the formula bar, the correct formula is visible. If you go to the formula bar and hit enter, the formula now starts to function normally. Furthermore, saving and re-opening the spreadsheet results in working formulas.
Remarks
This is 100% reproducible chez moi. It is observed in a very recent gnumeric version '1.12.53' compiled from freshly-pulled git sources. It is also observed in an older gnumeric version '1.12.38' from the ubuntu "focal" distro.
