[gnumeric-1.12.44] zlib.h: present but cannot be compiled
I am on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. Trying to build gnumeric-1.12.44.
unxz gnumeric-1.12.44.tar.xz
tar xvf gnumeric-1.12.44.tar
cd gnumeric-1.12.44/
./configure --with-zlib=/usr/ > stdout

configure: error: *** zlib is required
Why do I use ./configure --with-zlib=/usr/
not just ./configure --with-zlib=/usr/
? As advised in the gnumeric IRC. Without --with-zlib=/usr/
it wouldn't compile, either.
config.log
is attached.
