stf: guess formats based on whole column, not single cells. · 40176e57
      Morten Welinder authored
This implements a format guessing technique that looks at all cells in
a column to figure things out. It is not particular smart, but it does
      handle...

      1. Dates. Given enough dates, the field order will be deduced.

      2. Numbers. This will figure out if decimal point or decimal comma
is being used. This is not always possible, for example if all
         numbers are of the forms [-+]?\d+ and [-+]?\d{1,3},\d{3}

      Mime types: remove "zz-application/zz-winassoc-xls" · 993d13d9
      Morten Welinder authored
This is out of spec, but also used. Reality wins, but we no longer need
this explicitly as alias database, /usr/share/mime/aliases, covers it.

We can do this now as the relevant updates to aliases have been deployed.

xlsx: make shared strings parsing more robust. · cfd82752
      Morten Welinder authored
The spec isn't clear on the precise format of references to the shared strings
table. Until now we have only seen integers, but #765544 shows a sample with
      extra spaces.

Extra spaces are silly. The point of the shared strings table is to reduce
file size and extra spaces work against that. Nevertheless, it shouldn't
      hurt to support that.

The file probably was not created by Excel.
