plot curve disappears when reopening file
Consider the first screenshot. It shows a blue curve on the plot. This is the desired and expected behavior
Now exit the app, then reopen the file. This gives us the second screenshot. The blue curve is missing.
At this point, any number of minor interventions will cause the blue curve to reappear. This includes opening the plot properties popup and clicking OK (without doing anything else). This also includes going to cell A1 and inserting a new row. You can then "undo" the new row and the blue curve remains.
OTOH other minor interventions, such as entering 'x in cell A1, will not cause the curve to reappear.
After the curve reappears, it seems to behave normally for the life of this instance of the app. However (!) quitting the app (with or without saving the file) and restarting it causes the curve to disappear again.
Here is a spreadsheet that exhibits the problem.
disappearing-blue-plot-line.gnumeric
This seems to be a new bug. It is observed with the version compiled from freshly pulled git sources. It is not observed with gnumeric version '1.12.38' that ships with Ubuntu 20.04 focal.
This is not critical for me. Just weird.
