sigsegv due to inserted spreadsheet object

Observed behavior I created the attached spreadsheet using Menu -> Insert -> Object -> From file, and choosing to insert a simple spreadsheet. Now, reading in the spreadsheet causes an immediate segmentation fault. A stack dump is also attached. inserted-object.gnumeric inserted-object.gnumeric

ssconvert behaves the same as gnumeric

This is NOT an urgent issue for me. I do not have a burning need for the insert_object function. I was just experimenting, to figure out what it does.

This is 100% reproducible chez moi.

This is not a new bug. It is observed both with an old-ish bog standard distro version '1.12.38' and also with a new version '1.12.47' compiled from freshly-pulled git sources.

Platform

gnumeric version '1.12.47'
datadir := '/usr/src/gnome/install/share/gnumeric/1.12.47'
libdir := '/usr/src/gnome/gnumeric'
