Created attachment 364960 Example of a humble 4D scatter plot
Dear Santa,
I've been nice.
All year!
Please free up your best, coolest, most skilled elf, Jean, to add a beautiful new type of chart to gnumeric.
One that visualizes up to ... SEVEN dimensions!!!
For example...
Imagine a sheet with a row for each child you'll bring gifts to.
In each row, the first column is how many times the child was nice last year.
This goes on the chart's X axis.
The second column, how many times they were naughty!
This goes on the Y axis.
A third column, their age, goes on the Z axis.
A lesser scatter plot is humbly attached.
But wait!
There's more!!!
A fourth column, their latitude, could be the diameter of each dot/bubble.
The fifth, sixth and seventh columns?
Longitude, number of gifts and how many cookies they left by the chimney last year!
They could be the red, green and blue (RGB) color intensities of each dot.
Imagine the uses!
Math!
Science!
Beauty!
Less time in the sleigh on Christmas eve!
Happy holidays, Kingsley
