Insert Formula in Statusbar Status overwrites cells without warning

Created attachment 348587 steps to select column, insert formula to side, and final result overwriting third column

When I select a column of data and right-click on the status bar statistics to change the Sum display to Inserting a Formula to the Side, the column to the right is overwritten without warning.

I think the behavior should be the same as the Insert Cells function that inserts cells/columns and does not overwrite existing data.
