XLS : inline arrays in named expressions + validate from list arrays

Description

I downloaded the spreadsheet at this url: http://www.vertex42.com/Links/go.php?urlid=file-CanadaMortgage (It's a zipfile with a .xls file inside.)

When I open it in Gnumeric (1.8.2), I see lots of fields with #ShortStack! in them, and if I enter or change any data, more and more fields display that.

The pull-down menu for Payment Frequency doesn't work right - it shows "Monthly" in the field, but only has "Annual" in the pull-down (missing others like biweekly). Selecting Annual pops up an error dialog.

The Compound Period pull-down menu has a similar problem, only displaying and listing "Semi-Annually".

The Extra Payment field and the Extra Annual Payment fields display "$ -0" even though the data in them is clearly just "0".

In short: I am not able to use this spreadsheet in Gnumeric, but it works fine in Excel.

Version: git master
