"the system status area" vs "the top bar"

The text in https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-user-docs/-/blob/master/gnome-help/C/bluetooth-connect-device.page#L101-106 says the icon appears in "the system status area". And also "The Bluetooth icon on the top bar" for the image.

I don't see "status area" being used to describe this area other places so mabye it should be "top bar".

So maybe change:

<p>When one or more Bluetooth devices are connected, the Bluetooth icon
  appears in the system status area.</p>

To:

<p>When one or more Bluetooth devices are connected, the Bluetooth icon
  appears on the top bar.</p>
